My Project

Ephiphania is a land celebrating greek mythology. It is dedicated to educating patrons about ancient greek mythology while being as fun and interactive as possible. Patrons are also encouraged to come dressed in theme to enhance their experience.

My attraction is located in Centaur Forest at Ephiphania. It is a slow-paced tracked ride in shallow water that goes through the forest. The ride vehicle is a wooden canoe with a weathered exterior. It starts slow and climaxes at the mid-point before continuing at a slow pace all the way back to the starting point. Throughout the ride, guests are educated on the different mythical creatures that reside in Foloi. The creatures interact with the guests during the ride as well.

Pholos is a funny, witty, and wise centaur that lives in Folio. He has a very energetic personality with a contagious laugh. He has brown hair and hazel eyes. His bottom half is covered in a shiny brown coat. He also adorns himself with a belt which he uses to hold his sword. He is very eager to share all of his knowledge regarding Foloi and all its inhabitants. He shows off all the amazing qualities of even the most scary creature in the forest.

My imaginary for this land is to not judge a book by its cover. The ride is seemingly scary at first and some of the people on the ride may get worried that they are going through a cave instead of the waterfall. However, everything ends up being completely fine and they have just as much fun. I want to remind guests that they should not judge people or things based on what they see on the outside but to stay open-minded to new or unfamiliar experiences.

Big Points

  • Ride system: Slow tracked boat ride
  • Load capacity: 32
  • Expected ride time: 2 minutes 26 seconds
  • Music: "You're welcome" by Dwayne Johnson
  • Ride sequence: Guests arrive at the forest entrance where there are two torches burning on either side. They are becocked in by a scary voice and get seated in the canoe. The ride begins at a slow pace and they are greeted by Pholos. Pholos introduces himself and starts to give the audience a breakdown of all the different mythical creatures that reside in Foloi. The ride speeds up midway and the boats are split up on two separate tracks. One track leads to a waterfall and the other to a dark cave. The cave suddenly lights up with different mythical creatures that put on a brief show. Moments after, the boats rejoin on a singular track and Pholos says his goodbyes to the group and disappears back into the forest.
