Study Pro

Students often face a number of distractions while on zoom classes or doing homework from a private or relaxed environment. Our goal is to increase performance and productivity through StudyPro, a user friendly app that is available for any student wanting to increase their grades and study habits. This application will allow the user to choose which distractions are available when and make their own professional study environment.

Our Project

During our research, we found that students were often feeling discouraged, bored, and fatigued when it came to online classes that were forced upon them due to the COVID-19 pandemic. There was a lack of social engagement that students felt and this in turn, resulted in reported lower grades and poor work habits. The inception of this idea came to us as we were all students who had previously experienced a whole year of online classes and we all faced consequences for them. Our best insights came from classmates and other college students experiencing the same thing as us. The concept for our project is an app that targets primarily college aged students in order to aid them in focus and good habits. Our intended benefit from this is to help increase grades and fuel students' passion for what they are learning.
