Better Eats

Young adults start developing eating habits once they move out of their parents home, so it is a crucial time for college-age students to develop health eating habits. Developing healthy eating habits at a young age will hopefully decrease the chances of developing a chronic disease, which many may face later on in life.

Our Project

Better Eats is a meal plan / recipe finding app made for young adults. Many young adults were not properly taught how to cook for themselves, so they turn to unhealthy fast food. The goal of Better Eats is to educate young adults on how to make healthy, nutritious, and delicious meals on any budget, according to any dietary restrictions, and on any skill level. Better Eats includes a "learn" section, where users can learn basic skills that are needed in any recipe, therefore improving skill level as they cook.
