Collaborative Travel Planning & Management

Planning trips with other people can be challenging, not to mention the struggle of juggling busy schedules. This application allows for users to easily collaborate with friends for a worry-free planning process.

Our Project

The project aim was to create an app that would help people collaborate and organize group trips. What we found in our research is people were not only very interested in this trip but also expressed there was an enact need for the app too. What we designed was an app that has both look up and group chat capabilities. We added a feature that allowed people to add their contacts to make communication in groups easy, as well as a destination look up to help with organization. In the evaluation we presented a much more detailed model for feedback and received mostly positive feedback. We ended up deleting a couple extraneous features and streamlining our process. We improved our prototype by deleting the Michelin star feature that we felt was too focused on food along with re-adding the group chat feature that we drifted away from originally.
