Our Project
This app was designed to help people get better sleep and be able to show the data that people have collected from their wearable technologies. In our research we found that many people were not getting the right amount or the right quality of sleep they needed. The design we went with was an app that displayed the data in a very easy to read way and made recommendations for people to get better sleep. We wanted to focus more about the idea of people getting better sleep rather than getting more sleep. The way that we did the evaluations was by having people try and navigate and read the data that was in our app. The things that we found in that was some people found it hard to see the difference in the types of data, so we made them more separated and added lines to help define the data. Another thing that we found was people found the white background a bit much for a sleep app, so we allowed for a dark mode with a black background.
LinkBig Points
- Allowed users to be able to read their collected data easier.
- Allowed for the collection of data to be able to give recommendations for better sleep.
- Allowed for preference of how you wanted to see the data.

Sleep Right Poster Explanation
This video explains the reasons for the choices that we made for our app design. We looked at the user testing and used that to be able to make the changes the users wanted us to make.
