Our Project
Heart Health Resources is a project that was constructed with the goal of providing heart health knowledge and awareness to the community of Bloomington, Indiana. By using the website’s features, users can learn about heart health and share their health journeys with one another.
With Heart Health Resources, users have the ability to increase their heart health awareness through a multitude of ways. The education feature provides the user with an array of educational resources that they can later be tested on. If users want to chat with other people, they can use the community feature to spark a conversation about health. With the local events feature, users can participate in heart healthy events created by other users or themselves. Lastly, users can learn how to perform CPR should the need arise in the future.
By using Heart Health Resources, this project can assist Bloomington by informing them of safe heart health practices, fighting for an overall healthier community.

Cort Gerber Gerber
Cort is a Senior at Indiana University studying Informatics and minoring in business. Cort is preparing to graduate to work in the informatics and business space this May.
Evan Lesniewski
Evan is an Informatics major with a cognate in premedical health professions. Evan currently works as an EMT-B for Morgan County EMS.
Chris Graninger
Chris is an Informatics major, with minors in Human-Centered Computing and Web Design & Development. Chris is from Evansville, Indiana. Chris does not yet have plans for after graduation, but is looking to work in an informatics-related field.
Johnathan Hasey
Johnathan Hasey studied computer science and informatics at Indiana University and works for the city of Bloomington, in the parks and recreations department.
