Our Project

Campus Connect 24 is a web application designed to bridge the gap between Indiana University students and local employers offering flexible, part-time work. Many students struggle to find jobs that fit around their academic and extracurricular schedules, while small businesses often lack an efficient way to reach reliable student workers. This platform addresses both challenges by creating a centralized job marketplace tailored to the campus community.

The application allows students to create profiles, browse job listings, apply for positions, and track the status of their applications. On the employer side, users can post job opportunities, review applicants, and manage hiring decisions in an organized workflow. The system is built using Flask, MariaDB, and dynamic templating to support secure authentication, database integration, and full CRUD functionality.

Throughout development, the project emphasized usability, accessibility, and real-world functionality. Special attention was given to creating an intuitive interface that simplifies job searching and hiring processes. Campus Connect 24 demonstrates how web technology can improve career access for students while also helping local employers efficiently connect with potential hires.
