Our Project
College students today are expected to face a wide variety of responsibilities, including coursework, jobs, personal commitments, and more. While many people rely on things like planners and calendars to track their work, these tools often fall short when it comes to helping students actually complete their work. Over the course of the semester, workload increases and students struggle to maintain commitment and adapt to schedule changes. Research and survey data shows that a majority of college undergraduates in the US experience moderate or high stress levels related to their academics.
The problem shows that students aren’t lacking tools to plan and organize their work, but are lacking support for following through to complete it. The issue is not simply planning and time management, but also stress management, focus, and building sustainable habits. Stress Less is designed as a response to this issue by rethinking how productivity tools can support students’ work. This website shifts the focus from having passively organized calendars, to actively engaging with each task and a structured workflow. The system aims to help students move from intent to action, creating a more manageable and productive academic experience.
