Food Insecurity

For our project we wanted to address the problem of food insecurity amongst college students. This is an important problem because many college students don't have the financial resources to access nutritious, balanced food throughout the school year. In response to this problem, we created an app called NutriniMax that allows college students to more efficiently find affordable ways to eat healthy.

Our Project

We have created an app called NutriniMax that addresses the problem of food insecurity amongst college students. This is an important problem because many college students don't have the financial resources to access nutritious, balanced food throughout the school year. The app can serve many purposes such as finding local food banks or stores located in specific areas, giving the user step by step instructions on how to make specific foods, and allowing users to ask food related questions to an AI dietician.

Big Points

  • - Addresses a need for college students
  • - Provides a solution for college food insecurity
  • - Used on college campus
  • - Available on IOS, Android, Google services
