ECO Transit

Eco Transit is an online wireframe that focuses on the wellbeing of public transportation and the climate of our society. As college students, we notice a lot of flaws in the way that people travel and the affect it has on us. As we began asking questions around campus about how this design would work, we came up with important project ideas like; E.T.A on bus routes, up to date road availability qualities, optimized routes, and straight to the point navigational features.

Our Project

Goal

We aim to encourage people to use public transport more frequently.

Topic

We are creating an application that includes bicycle routes, bus tracking information as well as enhancing user experience by making the app user friendly and eventually persuade users to take public transportation more often to reduce carbon emissions.

Context

Through our secondary research, we've confirmed the role of public transportation in combating global warming. Additionally, interviews and affinity diagram from that revealed that people encounter the most inconvenience when it comes to tracking and accessibility within public transportation. Therefore, we believe that our app can address and alleviate the discomfort they encounter.
