Health: Digital Balance

Our group is working on a project called, “Digital Balance: Promoting Well-Being in a Hyperconnected World”. With technology being a constant presence in our daily lives, it's becoming increasingly important to find ways to maintain a healthy relationship with our digital devices. Our project will focus on developing a digital solution that promotes mindful technology use, encourage positive habits, and reduce the negative impacts of overuse such as decreased productivity and weakened attention span.

Our Project

Digital Detox is a mobile app designed to help college students stay focused and balance their screen time. The app has three sections: Productivity, Relax, and Data. In Productivity, you can set timers to block distracting apps and boost productivity. When it’s time to unwind, Relax lets you use selected apps for a set period without distractions. Data offers insights into your screen time, usage patterns, and personalized tips to build a healthier relationship with your devices. With Digital Detox, you’ll have an all-in-one tool to manage your time and stay present, wherever you go.
