Our Project
With rapidly evolving technology, an increasing number of devices, and massive online space, it has never been more important to have a solid understanding of cybersecurity and safe online practices in order to protect yourself from harm, fraud, and other cyber threats. Through interviews with our target audience of college students, we discovered that there is a knowledge gap in many of our peers when it comes to this kind of information, but also an interest and desire to learn more about cybersecurity.
Those same interviews allowed us to learn that a majority of students learn the best from a combination of tutorials, videos, and even phone apps. This led us to create CyberEDU, an app that exists as a one-stop-shop for cybersecurity related materials. Our app includes a resource section that contains interesting videos, helpful tutorials, and informational graphics all related to cybersecurity that gives students a jump start into their cyber education.
Another fantastic feature is CyberGPT, an AI chatbot available 24/7 for students to ask cybersecurity related questions and receive instant informative answers. There is also a daily feature page that highlights an interesting article of the week which allows students to get the newest and most recent innovations in the cybersecurity field.
