Our Project
With the increase of technology and social media, it is important to maintain a healthy balance between tech and non-tech activities in order to preserve and maintain your mental health. Kids and teens have access to technology younger and younger, and while we may not be able to prevent that, we can encourage healthy habits.
We conducted primary and secondary research through readings and interviews with our target audience. We took the data we collected and brainstormed, sketched, and finalized our idea "Journey: A digital health and wellbeing app".
Users are able to add, edit, and log activities personal to them that they do outside of tech. By logging activities they can earn points and badges that apply to their leaderboard. Users can get their social fix by sharing their progress and photos with friends. Our next steps are to complete more user testing and finalize our prototype based off the feedback we receive.
