Our Project
Our idea was to design one app that Bloomington Transit and IU both use instead of relying on multiple clunky third-party apps. We have normal functionality like a map and schedule, but we added many features like live traffic tracking that can be toggled on and off, a route generator for more complicated routes, the ability to request additional stops and buses, and much more personalization, among many more features. We have users create an account on startup that allows for tracking their statistics and a personalized QR code that they will scan when entering the bus. We hope that these changes streamline the experience of the riders and the drivers leading to a much more efficient experience for everyone that is involved.
