My Work
Climate
The topic for our group's project was climate change, in which we specifically focused on rising sea levels impact on the present and future, as well as how it is caused. Our group wanted to bring awareness to people in our area by creating an app that gives users information about potential vacation and coastal destination spots that our target audience might want to visit. Our app also gives feedback about how we can help save our oceans from air pollution and stop sea levels from rising.
Electropoise & Exploitation
The Electropoise was a fraudulent 19th century medical device that was said to heal any kind of ailment. The device consisted of a metal cylinder connected to a cord that attached to any part of the body for healing. Although advertised to heal any sickness, injury, or health problem this device was a massive scam and did nothing but make its creators large amounts of money. The goal of this project is to raise questions about how this object defied ethical guidelines in the production, advertisement, and sale in the 19th century medical world.
