Problem Statement: How can we inform users about the costs of blindly agreeing to terms and conditions when signing up on social media platforms? Social media users often encounter lengthy and difficult-to-understand terms and conditions and are often coerced into agreeing to them without comprehending them. This can lead to many problems, including privacy violations. Our team aims to simplify terms and conditions and present them in an easy-to-understand manner to help users make informed decisions about their privacy and data.

Our project explored the historical and cultural opportunities in Washington, Indiana, a welcoming town in Daviess County. Our mission was to create a centralized, user-friendly website that highlights the city’s rich history, vibrant culture, and local attractions. We designed a self-guided digital walking tour where users can explore landmarks, listen to educational audio, and save memories. Through contextual inquiries and user testing, we identified key user needs and improved navigation and clarity. The final result aims to boost tourism, strengthen community engagement, and help both residents and visitors connect with Washington’s unique stories in an accessible, meaningful way.
