About
Megan has an Informatics degree with a cognate in Medical Sciences and a minor in Computer Science. She is passionate about the application of technology in healthcare, and in her free time enjoys reading and learning more about outer space. Upon graduation from IU, Megan will be joining Impact Advisors as an IT Consultant.
My Work
Recycling @ IU
In this project, we analyzed the recycling habits of those living and working on IU's campus. We found many issues leading to a decreased amount of recycling and began to brainstorm solutions to these problems. We settled on one solution and began to develop an app to help the residents of IU and Monroe County recycle more effectively.
Bloom
Bloom is a system aiming to bring more awareness to local farmers markets, so users and the wider community may experience the benefits they offer. With Bloom, users can be more informed and interact with their favorite markets and vendors giving them a more comfortable and efficient experience.
