My Work
SwoleMate
SwoleMate is a mobile fitness app that connects to an external wearable fitness device to track performance in the gym. Our goal is to prevent weightlifting-related injuries by signaling to the user when they are using improper form through device vibration and feedback in the app. We provide users with an interactive platform to build workouts, track activity, watch tutorials, and see feedback on completed workouts.
EmpowerHer
EmpowerHer is an app dedicated to educating and supporting college students on women's sexual reproductive rights. Users can explore a range of topics through personalized profiles, discovering available options and gaining valuable insights. The forum encourages open discussions and questions, fostering a sense of community. The app seamlessly integrates practical features, allowing users to schedule appointments with nearby clinics and submit direct, confidential inquiries to healthcare professionals. EmpowerHer provides a comprehensive platform for college students, offering education, community, and practical assistance to empower them in navigating their sexual and reproductive health.
Green Machine
Students have generally shown a disinterest in carbon emissions at Indiana University. With the Green Machine we have a carbon footprint calculator that gives students the ability to calculate their carbon score, and we give them customized alternatives to help them lower their carbon footprint. Students can also create their own sustainability goals, and can connect with friends and groups in order to keep one another accountable and help keep Bloomington, Indiana a clean place with lower carbon emissions.
