Reece Needham (any pronoun) is an Informatics major with minors in HCI/d, Spanish, and Theatre. Reece enjoys participating in TEDxIndianaUniversity and ServeIT. In addition to sound design, UX design, and drinking too much coffee, Reece is a UI for i101 and works as a LLC Peer Mentor and Luddy Tutor.
My Work
Online Misinformation
We are working on a project called "Clarity". The aim is to design a service that empowers users to identify, report, and counter online misinformation. We believe that by providing these tools, we can promote a safer, more transparent, and trustworthy digital world. We also see this as a valuable educational tool that promotes media literacy, critical thinking, and responsible information sharing. We are in the early stages of the project and are currently researching how people currently interact with misinformation. Your insights will be invaluable in helping us shape the content and features of our service.
